Why should I buy herringbone wood flooring?

There are many reviews of Herringbone you can find online but which review is best? Wood floors are an important aspect of any home’s design, and it’s a decision you’ll have to live with for years. Wood flooring is a significant investment that you don’t want to make a mistake with or regret later. Let’s talk about herringbone wood flooring and whether or not you should install it in your home.

If you’re considering whether herringbone wood floors are perfect for you, you’re certainly concerned about your home’s overall look and want to ensure that your design choices stand out and give you that WOW factor. You don’t want to go with drab builder-grade flooring that detracts from the rest of the house’s appeal.

Herringbone flooring isn’t for the faint of heart. It has a unique style and makes a statement the instant you step in the door, which may be exactly what you’re searching for! It’s a one-of-a-kind design piece that makes your home look personalized and high-end while also adding warmth and character.

There are a few things to think about before installing herringbone wood floors in your home.

To begin with, herringbone floors are pricey. Wood flooring is usually quite expensive because of its high quality and by adding herringbone, it can complicate things a little. The installation process needs to be intricate and herringbone also requires more materials due to the pattern which is what makes it more expensive.  This is an expenditure you must be willing to make if you want the extra WOW factor that herringbone flooring provides.

Herringbone floors are best displayed in larger spaces or rooms so that the pattern may be appreciated fully. They look stunning in a wide entryway that leads into a great room, allowing you to take in the entire home’s grandeur and elegance as soon as you enter in the front door.

Herringbone wood flooring do not have to be installed throughout your entire home. In fact, they appear best when employed in a limited number of locations, making them feel unique rather than overwhelming. Often, simply installing them in an office or kitchen is enough to make a statement without feeling compelled to continue them throughout the house. Installing them in simply an office gives a spark to the space and forces you to notice and appreciate them.

A foyer’s herringbone inlay is a great method to use herringbone in a tiny way. This offers the entrance personality and a design feature that sticks out, without the high labour expenditures that herringbone floors in the entire great room and kitchen area might add up to.

What different kinds of wood flooring can I get?

We offer a wide variety of flooring and flooring accessories to give you more choice and inspiration. Some of the services we offer:

Herringbone – Oak, teak, cherry, walnut, and maple are just a few of the wood kinds available for herringbone floors. Exotic hardwood strips are frequently used to create borders around the perimeter of a herringbone floor.

Finger Mosaic – Many new homes in the 1960s and 1970s had finger mosaics put across the ground level. These mosaics are made from blocks that are much smaller and thinner than standard block flooring and are set in alternate directions.

Parquet – A geometric mosaic of solid-wood pieces set in a block-herringbone pattern for ornamental effect.

Inlay & Medallions – We also provide hardwood inlays and medallions, which come in a variety of styles and can be customized to include a family crest or a company logo. These pieces are handcrafted by expert artisans and make a fantastic addition to any family home or office.

Floor sanding and refurbishment – Repairs, additions to existing wood flooring and infill, replacements, coloring, oiling, and lacquering are all services we offer in addition to floor installation. To assure the finest quality finish, we exclusively use the best products for all of our services.

Floor maintenance – Many of our clients prefer to purchase a maintenance contract with us after experiencing the level of service we deliver. This safeguards their floor investment and ensures that the inherent beauty of the wood is preserved.

The following services are included in the package:
– A mild sanding once a year is recommended.
– Any little scraping is repaired.
– Oil for maintenance is applied.

Kitchens – Our kitchen offering is absolutely unique, thanks to our in-house team’s 25+ years of experience. Please come visit us at our beautiful showroom in Surrey. I guarantee it will inspire and thrill you, and introduce you to our great designers and expert tradesmen who can help you construct and realize your vision.

As a policy, we only deal with Rotpunkt Küchen, a prominent kitchen brand that has been developing in kitchen design for over 90 years. We provide and install magnificent bespoke kitchens that are built to fit you and your home perfectly using their trendy, high-quality materials, which are carbon-neutrally manufactured in Germany.

Hardwood borders – Wood borders can be used to identify a specific region of flooring or to transform a standard wood floor into something more unique.  Hardwood borders come in a variety of patterns, or a bespoke design can be created to match your decor.

Door supply and fitting – Internal doors of the highest quality are sourced for the house or business, and are complemented by a wide range of fittings and furniture.  The Victorian four-panel oak door is our current best-seller. Walnut, cherry wood, ash, mahogany, oak, and pine doors are also available in a variety of conventional and contemporary styles and colors.

Supply and fitting of skirting and architrave – Our skilled team can provide and install Victorian, chamfered, ogee, ovolo, bullnose, and antique skirting boards and architraves in a range of shapes and sizes.  We can also repair or replace older skirting boards as needed, or stain an existing skirting board to match your new flooring and integrate it in with the rest of your house.
